What is a nuc?
A nucleus colony (nuc) is a smaller colony of bees, typically with a mated queen, brood, worker bees and food stores, provided in a hive box. It’s a great way to start or expand your apiary with a strong, established colony.
What you receive
Our nucs include a mated queen, brood in all stages, worker bees and ample food stores, housed in a sturdy nucleus hive. Each colony is carefully inspected and prepared to give you the best possible start.
How the waiting list works
Nucs are in high demand and numbers are limited. We manage availability through a waiting list to ensure the right homes for our bees. Add your details and we’ll be in touch when nucs are expected to be available.
